2015 wasn’t just marked by new movies, it marked the discovery or rediscoveries of awesome classics!
I did fall in love with Empire Records again! It brings back awesome memories.
I rewatched The Mummy this year (it’s been ages since I last saw it) and realized just how much I enjoyed it. Such a fun film! And I fell in love with Kill Bill Vol. 1 again this year, as well.
I rewatched a lot of movies I used to watch when I was younger or just used to really love, especially french ones! Like Nos Jours Heureux, Astérix et Obélix Mission Cléopâtre, Vilaine, Emotifs Anonyme, L’arnacoeur… Fell in love with all of them all over again, so many great memories!
I caught up with Cinema Verite which I really wanted to check out for a while. It’s a movie about a tv show/doc made in the 70s about a family. Kind of like the first reality show. I’m really into the 60s-70s now because of Mad Men and I was craving more. I also love to see the politics and game playing in productions. I was pretty pleased with it.
Also saw Blended. I’m not into typical Adam Sandler movies, but I love his family ones. This movie was so fun and silly and I loved it.
The I AM documentary we watched for Lindsey’s episode was really great and eye opening. The True Cost as well.
Have to mention that Revenge of the Sith was really great to watch again after possibly ten years? I want to watch it again now!
I finally saw This is the End this year and really enjoyed it!

There you go! These are our Best Movies of 2015! And just like Estee said, “This thread is giving me loads to add to my Netflix list!”
