For this installment, it’s all about these two:
Earlier this month one of my favorite bands Florence and the Machine released their latest album, How Big How Beautiful. My favorite track is Which Witch.
To be honest, the rest of the album is not my style and not what I was expecting from Florence +. I love her creepy moody style, but this was a bit too different for me since it wasn’t creepy at all. :) Maybe I need to listen a couple more times.
Jumping to another genre, Jason Derulo also released a new album and I’m loving three songs from it. I love his music because it’s fun to sing, dance, and work out to.
Cheyenne, specifically, is a great fast walking song and also is almost certainly a Dirty Diana homage both in sound and lyrics. Please let me know if you see what I see.
