2014 Hollywood Film Awards
The only thing that truly caught my eye was Benedict Cumberbatch, but that had nothing to do with his outfit.
Of the dresses the only one I can say I like is Hilary Swank‘s.
I think Queen Latifah looks beautiful.

Maitland Ward – I bet that dress looks fab in person over photo.
Michael Keaton looks very dashing (and aging very well).
Chris Rock also looks dashing.
Jing Tian looks lovely (even though her dress looks a lot like Resse Whitherspoon’s dress when she won the Academy Award for best female actor).
I loved Reese Witherspoon‘s dress. Caught my eye very quickly.

Most of these dresses were slightly off, in my opinion. I also really don’t like midi or tea length so that was annoying; Hilary Swank and Reese Witherspoon‘s dresses are beautiful, but I don’t love their lengths. Lauren Elizabeth‘s dress is so fresh. She looks really cute and fun. Kiera Knightley‘s mixed media dress is really interesting. Not my favorite, but certainly something else. I would wear Eddie Redmayne‘s suit. So shiny! Love the pocket square color blocking.
European Music Awards
The only thing I can say about these is what happened to the bottom half of Nick Cannon‘s pants?
I am really hating all the dresses. I guess Ariana Grande‘s dress is OK, but that is if I have to pick something.
Ariana Grande is really pulling off that dress and I LOVE that her hair is down (and so are her eyebrows, kind of).
American Music Awards
Kind of underwhelmed again and a few of these are full on WTF?!?!

Agreed. I feel like we have seen a lot of versions of these dresses. However, Mary Lambert looks great. What I love most is that is she is a normal/plus sized woman and the stylist didn’t try to hide her arms and legs like they often do.
Kate Beckinsale – always stunning.
Vanessa, do you think they picked the color of Mary Lambert’s dressed based on her tattoo colors? It matches rather nicely actually.
The only one I enjoyed was Taylor Schilling‘s dress. They are all pretty much terrible. Mary Lambert doesn’t look bad, she looks much better than most of the ladies, but I think who ever styled her did her a disservice. The dress is too tight and looks uncomfortable on top. I do like the color with her tattoos.
Love the Bvlgari necklace Kate Beckinsdale is wearing. So much bling.
Elizabeth Banks looks so young. That dress is really fun and very Effie subtle cosplay there.
Rita Ora looks incredible in yellow. The dress is okay, but it does look a bit papery.
