Charee:
Groot was one of my favorite characters in Guardians of the Galaxy so I decided to choose him for my subtle cosplay. I had to be creative because he doesn’t wear any clothing whatsoever! I matched a flowy, brown dress with sparkly green heels. The heels might not be the most functional for a Con but they are super cute! I picked the flower earrings for the flower that Groot gives to a little girl in the movie. I also added leaf accessories and a cute little raccoon ring to represent Rocket. I would LOVE to see a movie of just Rocket and Groot.
Hadas:
I love Zoe Saldana! My first ever cosplay was her version of Uhura from Star Trek and after seeing Guardians of the Galaxy I knew I wanted to try the green paint. Until then, I’ll just have to Subtle Cosplay her Gamora. The easiest outfit to make into a subtle cosplay is the one from the scene at NOVA. She has a cute little skirt and a skull belt. So much fun! This may not be a bad start to an Elphaba subtle cosplay either.
Vanessa:
I chose Judy Jetson for my “Space Subtle Cosplay”. I wanted an iconic science fiction character that was fun and stylish. I came up with a few, but nobody can really beat out Judy Jetson in that category. I updated her original outfit because I can’t imagine that super hip Judy wouldn’t have accessorized!
