Reasons I Love Winter
1. SNOW!
The first snow always makes me so giddy. My parents live out on a private lake in the country and it is the most beautiful place when it snows. They also have some wicked sledding hills. I was lucky enough to be home for the first snowfall this year (in NOVEMBER). When it snows like this you have the perfect excuse to be lazy and drink tea all day and just watch the snow fall…. I love snow but I do not want to drive in it so I will just stay home and cuddle.
2. COMFORTERS!
Is it just me or do guys always run hot? I love cuddling and bundling in my comforter and I prefer to be cold at night so that this is possible. The winter time is the only time I can use our super fluffy comforter without complaints from my husband. And our cute little dragon pups enjoy it more as well.
3. PUPPY BOW TIES AND CHRISTMAS SWEATERS!
While tempting, I do not subject my pups to clothing. I am swayed, however, during the holiday season. My mom got our two pups little bow ties and they each have a Christmas sweater. They may hate me a little for it, but they look so darn cute.
4. TRADER JOE’S SEASONAL TEA!
I am a devoted Trader Joe’s fan and it pains me to be so far away from our closest location (2 hours!! Yuck!). The past two winters I have begged my family to send me TJ’s Candy Cane Green Tea. It is the winter season in a cup. It is most enjoyable while curled up in a comforter with bow tie adorned pups and a good book. I look forward to this tea every year.

5. SOUP!
I love soups and they are most satisfying during the winter time. Now that it is cold I have really been putting my crock pot to use making different soups and chili. Yum!
ANNNNNND Honorable Mention: PLANNERS
I tend to be a little spacey and forgetful so I really depend on planners to keep myself organized. I use plenty of lists and calendars on my tablet, but they do not seem to do the trick. Something about writing tasks down and crossing them off as they are completed works so much better for me. I can spend forever in the planner section of the store picking out the best one. I love new planners!
