#Fandom5 WINTER: Love & Hate

Hey guys, it’s Estee with a twist! Winter is my LEAST favorite season of the year so here are

Reasons I Hate Winter

1. It’s Cold

To be fair this pic is from last winter and we haven’t had temps this low yet this winter. However, it still gets insanely cold and I can’t stand being cold. My most recent Obsession (alpaca wool socks) help but not enough. Frankly there isn’t enough alpaca wool to get me to enjoy the cold.

2. Snow

Sure snow is pretty at first but then it turns into a yucky, dirty, slushy mess. It also gets old after awhile. Short of taking off your shoes or boots outside (and who wants to do that when it’s freezing) there is no way to not track it into your house. Then you have dirty wet snow on your nice clean floors which gives you extra housework and who wants that?

3. Scraping Off the Car
So this ties into the first two on my but it’s still a pain in the butt. When I scrape my car, I end up with snow in my shoes, down my sleeves and anyplace else it can manage to find a way in which makes me cold, wet and cranky.

4. Constantly Battling My Satellite Dish
Between the ice, the snow and the wind my TV seems like it goes out at least once a week. When you are addicted to your favorite TV shows this is highly annoying. The only plus to this is that the weather lets me get other things done while I impatiently wait for my satellite dish to work again.

5. Driving in the Snow and Ice
First let me say this was taken from the passenger seat. I was not driving. That said, I cannot stand driving when winter weather strikes. I don’t even like being a passenger in the car if I’m totally honest. The worst part is other drivers. They make it most difficult for me. Yes, the slick road conditions aren’t easy to navigate but once I get into a groove I’m usually ok. Then some yahoo comes along that is either too confident and wants to go way faster than they should. Or you get behind someone that is the polar (no pun intended) opposite. They are way too slow and are bound to have one of those speedy folks fly up on them rear-end them. So when the weather gets bad I only go out if I absolutely have to go somewhere.
