Salmon Fun

HADAS:
Expertise: I’m pretty good at this recipe but bad at fish cooking in general.
Ease: Not hard for a noob!
Customizing: So… one time I made pesto and put that inside the slices. Delish!
Repeatability: It’s the only recipe I know how to do! But you need to be careful with the oil amount. I once made a way too oily piece of salmon. Not pretty.

SOPHIE:
Expertise: Easy.
Ease: Fish is such a simple meat to cook, and it’s super quick!
Customizing: I stuck to the instructions. I dare not defy Gordon Ramsay! Didn’t need customising anyway, was perfect as is.
Repeatability: Definitely, I regularly make it anyway.

VANESSA:
Expertise: Beginner
Ease: Easy
Customizing: I stuck to the recipe.
Repeatability: Maybe. I prefer my salmon baked.

nutrition food health dietMelissa’s Nutritional Tidbit: Salmon is one of the healthiest foods around! It’s a fatty fish (along with sardines and herring) that’s considered “brain food”. It’s super high in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), omega-3 fatty acids that are essential for us to eat. Our bodies can’t make them so we have to eat them, hence why it’s called “essential fatty acids.”They maintain optimal brain, heart, and joint health. Salmon is also a fish of high biological value (HBV) protein, essential vitamins and minerals. It has vitamin D, B-12, B-6, thiamin, and selenium, just to name a few.
