Sloan and Don (The Newsroom)
I was not a fan of Don when we first met him. He was pretty much a jerk and he certainly didn’t treat the wide-eyed innocent Maggie the way she deserved. (Admittedly, she was a bit clingy and whiny, but that’s no excuse.) Sloan, on the other hand, was always amusing with her fast-talking overly intelligent babble and her complete social ineptitude. But when they got together (and tried to hide it for the sake of both their jobs) he slowly morphed into someone supportive and principled and likable. By the end of the series, it was hard no to root for them to make it. Not just anyone can handle someone as sharp-witted and defiant as Sloan.
